The UAV-connect project

The project AERIAL aims at developing wireless communications for seamless connectivity between aerial and ground vehicles/users. The output of this project combines groundbreaking fundamental research with practical implementations. The envisaged results will have a tangible impact on the design of next-generation wireless technology for high-throughput aerial communications. Moreover, all the measurements, the channel models, and the system-level simulation tools developed during this project, will be available for download to the community in order to accelerate the pace of innovation and technological disruption in the realm of mmWave UAV communications.
